1) The Palestinian and Israeli leaders failed to reach a peace agreement at Camp David. In general, given what you know from the media, what is your opinion on the positions presented by Prime Minister Barak in Camp David? Would you say the Barak's position was right, that Israel could compromise more or that Israel made already too much of a compromise?

2) Looking at the issue of JERUSALEM, the Israeli position on this issue was: Israeli sovereignty in Jerusalem which will also include "Maale Edomim" "Gush Etzion" and "Givat Zeev". The Capital of the Palestinian State, will be established in neighborhoods currently part of east Jerusalem and will be named El Kuds. Palestinians will have full sovereignty over some of these neighborhoods and wide authonomy in others. A special arrangement with the Palestinians will take place in the "Old City" under overall Israeli sovereignty. Palestinians will also be the guarantors in "Har Habait".

Would you say that Israel's position on Jerusalem was right, that Israel could compromise more, or that Israel made already too much of a compromise?

3) Looking at the issue of REFUGEES, the Israeli position on this issue was that Israel will acknowledge the "Suffering of the Refugees" but not moral or legal responsibility for the problem. In the coming years Israel will absorb every year several thousands of refugees, under a family reunion plan. The Palestinian State will absorb gradually hundred of thousands refugees with the finanancial aid of the international community.

4) Looking at the issue of THE PALESTINIAN STATE AND BORDERS, the Israeli position on this issue was that a Palestinian state will be established and will be recognized by Israel. Israel will return about 90% of the territories including parts of the Jordan Valley. Major blocks of settlements will be annexed to Israel.

5) Looking at the issue of SETTLEMENTS, the Israeli position on this issue was that major settlement blocks in "Ariel" "Efrat", "Gush Etzion" "Maale Edomin" and "Givat Zeev" where most settlers live, will be annexed to Israel. The rest of the settlements will remain under Palestinian sovereignty.

6) Looking at the issue of SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS, the Israeli position on this issue was that the Palestinian State will not acquire an airforce or heavy weapon systems. Israel will be free to use the Palestinian air zone and will keep reconnaissance posts on the mountains. The Jordan Valley will be returned to the Palestinians but Israel will keep the right to deploy the army in case of a threat from the east.
